James Waldo Woodruff, Sr. and Jr. Collection
This collection consists of 131 linear feet of material organized into 9 series. These records contain documents pertaining to the Tri-Rivers Waterway Commission spanning 1935-1969, miscellaneous information relating to the establishment of the Infantry Museum, renovations of the Ralston Hotel, 1950-1961, and receipts and correspondence of three Woodruff radio stations, WRBL-Columbus, WGPC-Albany and WATL-Atlanta.
Jennie May Robinson Collection
Two bound volumes of sheet music, some of it purchased from Columbus music dealers. They include early Victorian illustration and some songs of Jenny Lind, known as the Swedish Nightingale. These volumes were owned by Savannah (Vannie) Lewis Buford (1835-1900). She was the maternal grandmother of the donor, Miss Jennie May Robinson. A copy of letter with some genealogical information is also included.
