Processing Information
General Correspondence was filed chronologically. Some folders were opened for particular individuals. There is some overlap between the General and the Individual. General correspondence includes: membership issues; timing, speakers and presenters at ISAC events; controversies; projects; and general administrative issues. Individual folders were for people with whom ISAC had frequent communications such as speakers and proposers of projects. The files for Roberta “Bobbie” Smith are especially rich, since she was both a very active member of the organization and served as the secretary for several conventions.
