Jones, Jr. of the Law Offices of Ward & Jones & Whitehead, 61 Wall Street, NY, concerning the claims of Miss Winter on the Rock Island Paper Mills and Water Lot $14, June 30 1875 Tax receipt for Water lots ½ of 7, 8, 9 and ½ of 10 paid by E & P with appended notes Indenture whereby John J. Grant sold the south half of Lot #7, all of Lots #8 and 9 and the North half of Lot #10 to the Eagle and Phenix Manufacturing Company for $11,700, July 20, 1875 Claim Bond concerning the conflicting positions of the Eagle & Phenix Manufacturing Company and Van Leonard, Trustee for the Howard Manufacturing Company. Each side claims full or partial ownership of Water Lots #4 thru #10 and #16 thru #37. The bond is for $14,860 and is dated October, 1875
