Materials Specific Details
Hallock left Fort Leavenworth to attend the Armed Forces Staff College (AFSC), where he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. After the completion of his courses at the AFSC he was sent on a tour of duty to Turkey. During his tour in Turkey as "Chief, Exercise and Maneuver Branch, HQS COMLANDSOUTHEAST (NATO)," he planned, controlled, analyzed, and evaluated the annual combined exercises of SE NATO. Those involved in the operations were the military divisions of Greece, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
