Indexes include the date of the survey, the name of the client, address/location of property, phone number, and survey number. Index entries were made by the first letter of the client name and thereunder by date of survey. The survey sheets include additional information, such as the owner of the property, lot number, block number, deed book, and a drawing of the land surveys, along with adjacent roads and streets and other geographical features such as creeks, railroads and public buildings, as well as the scale of the survey, etc. Most of the surveys are on onion-skin paper and are extremely fragile. There are numerous missing surveys.
