Scope and Contents

This collection of The Anvil’s Ring contains issues from 1974 to 2018. An index is included for issues not present in this current collection which can still be ordered from the ABANA organization. The collection of the The Hammer’s Blow, also by the Artist-Blacksmiths’ Association of North America, dates from Spring 1993 to 2018.

Scope and Contents These papers consist of materials relating to Jordan's researches into the life and work of Carson McCullers and his involvement with the McCullers Center. In addition, there are materials concerning a symposium on the occasion of the centenary of the birth in Columbus, Georgia of Nunnally Johnson, a mid-20th century journalist and Hollywood scriptwriter; Blind Tom; steamboats and the history of the Columbus region.
