Columbus Symphony Orchestra Collection

Scope and Contents Columbus Symphony Orchestra scrapbooks were donated to the public library in memory of James Thomas Fletcher (1943-2010) who was a principal timpani player with the CSO for many years. This small collection consists of stock certificates, receipts and a deed for lot 314 in Columbus. The majority of the materials have the name William B. Slade as a signature. He was a relative of the J. Rhodes Browne family. The materials are arranged chronologically within each folder . This collection was originally numbered MC 045 at the public library and renumbered MC 317 when the collection was donated to CSU Archives in the fall of 2013.

This Native American Dictionary Collection contains approximately 1650 slips, arranged alphabetically by the Creek term taken from the Comparative Dictionary of Creek, Hitchiti, Alibama, Koasati, Choctaw, Yuchi, Natchez and Shawnee compiled by General Albert Pike with additions by Mrs. E.
